ClipQC Terms of Service

2. Description of the Service

ClipQC provides tools for:

• Screen recording
• Video, audio, and text ClipTasks
• Session management
• Annotation & notes
• Collaboration and team assignment
• Project and workflow management
• AI-generated summaries and insights
• Integrations with third-party apps (Slack, Notion, Jira, etc.)

ClipQC may update or improve the Services at any time.

3. User Accounts

To use ClipQC, you must create an account using:

• Email
• OAuth (Google, Apple, Microsoft, etc.)

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Keep your credentials secure
• Be responsible for activity on your account

You must not:

• Share your login credentials
• Impersonate others
• Create accounts using bots or automation

If we detect suspicious activity, we may suspend your account.

4. Workspace & Teams

If you join a workspace:

• Your profile information may be visible to other members
• Workspace admins may manage your access
• Content created within the workspace may be viewable by teammates based on permissions

Workspace admins control:

• Roles & permissions
• Billing
• Integrations
• Content retention policies

5. User Content

You own all content you create, upload, or record using ClipQC (“User Content”).

This includes:

• Screen recordings
• Audio
• Notes
• ClipTasks
• Comments
• Documents
• Workflow data

License You Give Us

To operate the service, you grant ClipQC a limited license to:

• Process
• Store
• Transcode
• Display
• Securely transmit
• And otherwise use your content solely to provide the Service

We never sell your content.

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring your content:

• Does not violate laws
• Does not infringe copyrights
• Does not contain harmful or illegal material
• Can be shared with your team legally (if applicable)

6. Prohibited Use

You agree NOT to use ClipQC for:

• Illegal activity
• Recording someone without permission
• Sharing copyrighted materials you don’t own
• Hacking, scraping, or reverse engineering
• Creating harmful, deceptive, or abusive content
• Uploading malware or harmful scripts
• Harassing or endangering others

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

7. Recording & Consent

You are responsible for complying with applicable recording laws. Some regions require notifying participants before recording screens, audio, or video.

ClipQC is not responsible for how you record or distribute content.

8. Subscriptions, Billing & Payment

ClipQC offers free and paid plans.

Free Plan

• Limited seats (e.g., first 3 members free)
• Limited usage (minutes, storage, or features)

Paid Plans

Billing cycles may be:

• Monthly
• Yearly

When upgrading, you authorize ClipQC and its payment provider to:

• Charge your payment method
• Store your payment details securely

Renewals

Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel before the renewal date.

Refunds

Refunds are handled case-by-case at our discretion.

9. Workspace Ownership & Transfers

A workspace belongs to:

• The account creator by default, or
• An organization if created on behalf of one

The owner can:

• Transfer ownership
• Remove users
• Manage billing

We cannot intervene in internal disputes — workspace admins control access.

10. Integrations & Third-Party Services

ClipQC integrates with external services such as Slack, Notion, Jira, Microsoft Teams, Google Drive, GitHub, and others.

When you connect an integration:

• You permit ClipQC to access specific data
• Data is shared only as needed for the integration to function

We are not responsible for:

• Third-party outages
• Data practices of external services
• Revoked permissions or errors

11. AI Features

ClipQC may provide AI-based features including:

• Summaries
• Transcriptions
• Task suggestions

AI outputs may not always be accurate. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content.

We do not use your recordings to train external AI models.

12. Data Protection & Privacy

Your privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Topics covered include:

• Data collection
• Data use
• Integrations
• Retention
• Security
• User rights

By using ClipQC, you agree to both documents.

13. Security

We use security measures such as:

• Encryption
• Access controls
• Monitoring
• Audit logs

But no system is 100% secure.

You agree to notify us immediately of:

• Unauthorized access
• Suspicious activity
• Security breaches

14. Termination

You may delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You misuse the Service
• You do not pay for a paid subscription
• We detect fraudulent activity

Upon termination:

• Your content may be deleted
• Access to the workspace may be revoked
• Integrations will disconnect

15. Disclaimers

ClipQC is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee:

• Bug-free performance
• Accuracy of AI-generated content
• Compatibility with all devices
• That recordings will be recoverable after deletion

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• ClipQC is not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages.
• Our total liability to any user will not exceed the amount paid in the last 12 months (or $0 for free users).

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically.

If changes are significant, we will notify users via:

• Email
• App banner
• Updated date on this page

Your continued use of the Service means you accept the changes.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of United State of America.

Any disputes will be handled in courts located in the US.
